End-User Agreement for QuickBooks Online (QBO) Google Sheets Integration Script

  1. Acceptance of Terms:

By using this Google Apps Script (“the Script”) designed to integrate with QuickBooks Online (“QBO”), you (“the User”) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this End-User Agreement (“Agreement”). If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Script.

  1. Description of Service:

The Script provides a tool to download, edit, and upload product (Item) data between your QBO account and a Google Sheet. It utilizes the QuickBooks Online API and Google Apps Script services.

  1. User Responsibilities:
  • QBO Account: The User is responsible for maintaining a valid and active QuickBooks Online account.
  • API Access: The User is responsible for obtaining and managing the necessary API credentials (Client ID, Client Secret, Refresh Token, Company ID) from Intuit’s developer portal.
  • Data Accuracy: The User is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data edited and uploaded through the Script.
  • Security: The User is responsible for maintaining the security of their Google account and QBO credentials.
  • Compliance: The User must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including Intuit’s terms of service and API usage policies.
  • Backups: The user is responsible for backing up any critical data stored in their quickbooks online account, and their google sheet.
  1. Script Limitations and Disclaimers:
  • “As Is” Provision: The Script is provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. The developer does not guarantee that the Script will be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • No Liability: The developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Script, including but not limited to data loss, financial loss, or business interruption.
  • API Changes: The Script’s functionality may be affected by changes to the QuickBooks Online API or Google Apps Script services. The developer is not obligated to provide updates or support in such cases.
  • Third-Party Services: The Script relies on third-party services (QBO API, Google Apps Script). The developer is not responsible for the availability or performance of these services.
  • No Support: The developer provides no official support for this script. Any modifications made to the script by the user are done so at the users own risk.
  • Sandbox Usage: If the script is used with the quickbooks online sandbox, the user understands that data within the sandbox is for testing purposes only, and may be deleted or reset by intuit.
  1. Data Privacy:
  • The Script processes data between your QBO account and Google Sheet. The developer does not collect or store any user data.
  • The User is responsible for complying with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
  1. Modifications and Termination:
  • The developer reserves the right to modify or terminate the Script at any time without notice.
  • The User may terminate this Agreement by ceasing to use the Script.
  1. Governing Law:
  • This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction, e.g., the State of California, United States].
  1. Entire Agreement:
  • This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the User and the developer regarding the use of the Script.
